Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated Contractor Superintendent to oversee construction projects and coordinate daily operations on-site. This leadership role requires a strong background in various aspects of construction and carpentry, with the ability to manage teams, ensure safety standards, and deliver high-quality work. The ideal candidate will possess extensive hands-on experience in construction blueprint reading & diverse carpentry disciplines. This position offers an opportunity to lead projects across multiple sectors such as restoration, remodeling, new construction and commercial construction. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate construction crews to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan work effectively Oversee the use of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently Manage daily site operations including heavy lifting, material handling, and equipment setup Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices on all projects Assist with construction estimating, material procurement, and project planning Oversee installation tasks such as fixture installation, door hanging, siding, cabinetry, flooring, tile laying, masonry, and water damage restoration Coordinate subcontractors and vendors as needed for specialized tasks like rebar installation or stucco application Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency Provide mentorship and training to team members to enhance skill development Requirements Proven experience in construction site supervision or lead roles within the construction or restoration industry Extensive knowledge of carpentry disciplines including trim carpentry, framing, drywall, metal stud framing, cabinetry installation, and remodeling Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, schematics, blueprints reading, and fabrication techniques Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on various job sites Strong understanding of safety protocols related to construction sites Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively under deadlines Experience with water damage restoration Knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing basics, masonry work, tile and a well rounded working knowledge of construction Valid construction site experience with a focus on quality craftsmanship and safety standards Strong communication skills for coordinating with clients and team members alike This role is integral to delivering successful projects that meet client expectations while maintaining a safe work environment.
