Construction Superintendent (Project-Based Immediate Need) Location: York, PA Job Type: Project-Based (6-8 Months) Potential for Extension About the Opportunity A well-established commercial general contractor is seeking a Construction Superintendent to step in immediately on a newly approved project in the York, PA area.This is an active project with an immediate start , not a future pipeline role.The Superintendent will take full ownership of the jobsite from mobilization through closeout.Responsibilities Oversee all on-site construction activities from start to finish Manage subcontractors, schedules, and daily jobsite operations Drive project schedule and ensure key milestones are met Coordinate inspections and maintain safety compliance Communicate with project team, ownership, and stakeholders Handle field issues, problem-solving, and quality control Qualifications 5years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction Proven ability to run projects independently from start to finish Strong scheduling and subcontractor coordination experience Solid understanding of jobsite safety and construction processes Experience with Procore or similar construction software preferred Able to work in the York, PA area Why This Role Immediate start on a newly approved project Strong, reputable general contractor with consistent backlog Opportunity for additional work or longer-term fit Competitive compensation based on experience Additional Details Open to local or traveling Superintendents Project duration is expected to run approximately 6-8 months Apply If you're available or coming off a project soon and open to your next opportunity, apply to learn more.Pay:$40.00 - $60.00 per hour Application Question(s): Are you available to start within 2-3 weeks?
