Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Construction Worker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be actively involved in a variety of construction projects, contributing to building, renovating, and restoring structures with precision and dedication. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Duties Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required for construction, renovation, and restoration projects. Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely to assist with framing, roofing, masonry, and other construction activities. Install rebar, concrete forms, and perform concrete finishing using mixers, pumps, and related tools. Read blueprints and schematics accurately to execute tasks such as metal stud framing, drywall installation, stucco application, and tile laying. Conduct carpentry work including trim carpentry, framing, caulking, plastering, and installing flooring or other interior finishes. Assist with masonry tasks like bricklaying or stonework while ensuring quality craftsmanship. Support site safety protocols by maintaining a clean work environment and adhering to safety guidelines during all operations. Experience Proven experience working on construction sites with a solid understanding of construction processes and safety standards. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings related to various construction disciplines. Hands-on experience operating power tools, heavy equipment (such as cranes or excavators), and commercial driving vehicles. Knowledge of different construction trades including carpentry (frame and trim), masonry (masonry work), roofing, metal stud framing, stucco application, and flooring installation. Ability to perform concrete pumping, finishing techniques, rebar installation, and use of hand tools effectively. Prior involvement in renovation or restoration projects is highly desirable. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to estimate materials or read schematics will be advantageous for this role.
