Construction worker

About us L and L Thompson Construction is a small business in Wayne, NE.We do mostly residential construction and remodeling.We offer on-the-job training.Pay starts at $18/hr., but we're willing to pay more depending on your experience.We're also willing to increase pay for employees who show themselves to be dependable and punctual.Responsibilities: Assist with various construction tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials- Operate hand and power tools as directed by the construction team- Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and hazardous materials- Load and unload materials from trucks or other vehicles- Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe work environment- Collaborate with the construction team to complete projects on time and within budget Experience: Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required- Familiarity with hand and power tools is a plus- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints is a bonus- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn on the job- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods of time Note:This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.Employee may perform other related duties as requested to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.Job Type:Full-time Pay:From $18.00 per hour Benefits:On-the-job training Tools provided Language:English (Required) Ability to Commute:Wayne, NE 68787 (Required) Work Location:In person.
