Overview The Unitized Valuation Reporting Services (UVRS) department is part of the Global Fund Services Practice under Asset Servicing. The department supports large Institutional clients by providing Net Asset Valuations (NAVs) and Annual reporting timely and accurately. The majority of the client base consists of Defined Contribution and Defined Benefit plans. In addition, UVRS provides exceptional operational support and consultation to both external and internal parties. These parties include clients, auditors, 3rd party recordkeepers, client servicing, operational support, and performance teams. Acting independently, under general supervision, this position will be responsible for performing investment operations duties related to institutional products for an industry leading investment management team. The focus of the role will include analysis, cash flow allocation, trading, and reconciliation of funds as well as providing project leadership for managing client/investment change events. Major Duties : Calculate, review and initiate client activities related to cash flow and investment needs. Perform daily trading analysis. Research and resolve complex exceptions and coordinate corrective entries and preventative processes. Analyze payments and valuation impacts related to expenses. Lead clients change events including implementations, fund launches, mergers, corporate actions and fund closings by coordinating activities across multiple fund products. Maintain working action plan for event. Knowledge : Experience : Salary Range: Coordinate ongoing meetings between interested parties. Oversee daily investor activity and work closely with Institutional Fund Accounting and Daily Valuation Operations teams to resolve any issues in a timely manner. Communicate as needed with client oversight team and partner areas, especially regarding client exceptions. Acts in a leadership role and as a technical resource or subject matter expert for Institutional Fund Accounting and internal partner areas. Identify service efficiency enhancements, process and service delivery improvements using creative and proactive measures. Responsible for providing client service through the execution of daily functions and tasks Understand and enhance desktop operating procedures and controls. Responsible for providing timely response to queries and finding resolution to avoid repetitive actions. Works effectively both as a team member as well as an independent self-motivated individual. Responsible for multiple projects of various complexities. Cross train on other functions as well as provide back up. Able to identify opportunities for improvement within existing technology applications while acting as a liaison with Partner areas to drive resolution. Independently build relationships with internal and client contacts. Responsible for understanding client's business needs and deliverables. Act as the escalation point of contact for client issues or inquiries. Understand current Service Level Agreements (SLAs) that are directly related to job function(s). Establish, build & maintain effective working relationships with key partners internal and external to the organization. Drive the engagement of other partners as appropriate to solve client inquiries/issues.
