Content Creator Intern Duration: June - August | Remote | 5–10 hours per week Who we are: Catalyzer Media is a start-up non-profit dedicated to amplifying the voices of young leaders, creators, and activists. Job Description: The Content Creator Intern will help develop and produce engaging content across platforms to support Catalyzer Media’s mission and brand. You’ll help bring ideas to life through short-form videos, graphics, and other creative visuals. You’ll also pitch concepts, collaborate with the team on scripting and storytelling, and contribute to campaigns that inspire and empower young audiences. If you’re passionate about digital storytelling, love experimenting with creative formats, and are comfortable in front of the camera, this is a great opportunity to grow your content creation skills in a collaborative and purpose-driven environment. Key Responsibilities: Create short-form video content and social media graphics for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts Brainstorm and pitch creative video or graphic campaign ideas that align with our mission Work with the team to plan and write scripts for video content Assist with filming and editing (training and support provided if needed) Stay up-to-date on social media trends and youth-led digital movements Help develop a consistent visual and storytelling style for our content Collaborate with the social media team to post and promote content Skills and Qualifications: Familiarity with major social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn) and understanding of what type of content performs well on each Comfortable being on camera and participating in video creation Basic knowledge of creating visuals (Canva, CapCut, or similar tools) Open to learning video editing or collaborating with an editor Strong creative instincts and storytelling mindset Reliable with time management and meeting content deadlines Open to feedback, revisions, and collaborative brainstorming Passion for youth-led media, social impact, or creative storytelling This is for SCHOOL CREDIT only. Must be currently enrolled in school or have graduated within the last 3 months.
