Job Details Description Reports to: Continuous Improvement Manager Position Summary The Continuous Improvement (CI) Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and documenting process data across warehouse and distribution operations. This role focuses on conducting time studies, mapping processes, and identifying improvement opportunities. The CI Analyst works cross functionally across the organization to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall performance by fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Supervisory Responsibilities The position has no supervisory responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Conduct time studies and work measurement observations. Observe, document, and map current-state processes (process maps, standard work, workflows). Collect and organize operational data to support improvement initiatives. Identify inefficiencies such as waste, delays, and variation in processes. Support Continuous Improvement projects. Assist in developing standard work documentation and process controls. Work with operations teams to understand workflows and ensure accurate process representation. Maintain organized documentation of studies, findings, and process changes. Attend industry events, as needed, as a strong brand representative. Promote and maintain a clean and safe work environment by complying with procedures, policies, training, and regulations. Ensure established policies and procedures are followed. Other duties as assigned. Education/Experience/Qualifications Highschool diploma or GED, required. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field, preferred. 0-2 years of experience in process improvement, operational analysis, or a related field. 2+ years of relevant experience in operations, warehouse, manufacturing, or process improvement roles, preferred. Experience with process mapping tools (Visio, Lucidchart, etc.) Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement frameworks, preferred. Proficient with operational systems, Warehouse Management System (WMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and business intelligence tools (Power BI, SQL, Excel), preferred. Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, preferred. Must be willing to obtain. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, preferred. Must be willing to obtain. Passion for continuous improvement, operational excellence, and data-driven decision-making. Skills & Abilities Excellent problem-solving skills and sound judgment, with a hands-on approach to implementation. Ability to work with minimum supervision/guidance and must be self-directed. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other job-related equipment and software. Ability to communicate effectively (clear and concise) through writing, speaking, active listening, and presentation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to approach conflicts with vendors, customers, and colleagues in a constructive manner. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret data. Strong quantitative and analytical skills. Excellent organization skills and detail-oriented with exceptional critical thinking, multi-tasking, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent time management. Ability to work both independently, within a team, and cross-functionally with other departments/stakeholders. Ability to develop and foster business relationships. Willing to participate in Company designated training. Must have knowledge of and comply with the policies and procedures contained in the company handbook. Must be able to maintain confidentiality. Must be able to practice safe work habits. Physical Demands This office-type position requires sitting, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and using one's hands.
