In This Role, You Will Champion and support Continuous Improvement programs across E&S and H&S systems. Identify and drive transformation that is inclusive of mill and support organizations to increase alignment towards achievement of aspirational performance targets. Facilitate workshops to engage team members in activities supporting the deployment of H&S and E&S Processes. Provide education on Lean tools, processes and thinking to all levels of the organization and support your teams as they provide the same education to their customers. Drive standardization, simplification and breakthrough thinking through CI, LSS, and Culture of Accountability (CoA) practices. Facilitates capacity studies for future growth opportunities as dictated by business. Identifies and facilitates the implementation of process improvements and cost savings opportunities aligned with key business objects. Acts as a change agent to identify and drive continuous improvement projects that realize cost savings for the organization. Establishes and implements meaningful metrics to set yield, labor, and supply standards; tracks and identifies gaps in performance; explains discrepancies and facilitates system solutions. Oversees project performance and ensures timely completion and achievement of goals. Responsible for developing and leading projects to reduce negative variances. Implements strategic planning and execution using techniques such as, 4 Disciplines of Execution and SWOT Analysis. Coaches’ management in tactical execution of strategic plans. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in supply chain, engineering, or related field. 7+ years of related experience in OPEX, LSS, CI or other related discipline 5+ years’ experience in a high-speed industrial manufacturing environment in the areas of Engineering, Operations, Lean Manufacturing, or Reliability Previous experience with the application of CI, LEAN, OPEX, LSS tools and theory Must have direct or indirect manufacturing/operations, supply chain and/or finance experience, as well as knowledge of organizational structure. Ability to apply CI and Capabilities knowledge and principles to further progress the strategy of the business. Experience in organizing and leading multi-functional teams to foster a proactive team environment. Strong communication skills to motivate, empower, train, and coach a diverse group of team members Experience with developing vision and strategy, demonstrated problem-solving mindset, strong project management skills. Experience in multiple mills, product systems and staff experience, leadership of both exempt and non-exempt workforces are h
