If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you in Des Moines, IA.Join our healthcare partner's team and become an integral part of a facility that values your expertise and dedication.As a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse, you'll be working in a 22-bed unit with a patient ratio of 5:1, providing exceptional care to general med surg patients.You'll have the opportunity to work with EPIC electronic medical systems and be part of a team that values collaboration and excellence.Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a 22-bed medical surgical unit Administer medications, including Heparin drips, and monitor patient responses Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans Float across multiple campuses as needed to support patient care Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC EMR systems Participate in de-escalation training and apply techniques as necessary Adhere to facility policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and compliance Must have at least 24 months of Med Surg/Medical Surgical/Telemetry experience Previous travel experience within the past 18 months required Active Iowa or compact/multistate RN license required Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required De-escalation certification (MAB, MOAB, CPI, SAMA) highly preferred Apply today and let Capstone Health help you reach your full potential!
