Job Description
Contract Manager Everbridge, a global leader in critical event management helps enterprises and government organizations anticipate, mitigate, respond to, and recover from critical events keeping people safe and organizations running. It delivers this primarily through its SaaS-based Critical Event Management (CEM) platform, along with managed services and support. We're hiring a Contract Manager to serve as front-line contracting support for U.S. State & Local Government (SLED/SLG) opportunities including ownership of the Legal workstream for RFP responses and to provide commercial renewal execution support. This role will also help build and improve contracting processes, especially across SLED, RFPs, and renewals, and may take on additional responsibilities within the Legal function (e.g., insurance program support and intellectual property). What you'll do Drafting, reviewing, redlining, and negotiating a variety of agreements (MSAs, NDAs, DPAs, SOWs, SaaS agreements). Public Sector (SLED/SLG) contracting Review, negotiate, and manage SLED agreements from intake through signature (customer terms, award documents, exhibits/addenda, and required forms). Identify and drive resolution of common public-sector issues (required clauses, certifications, insurance, data/privacy/security requirements), partnering with internal stakeholders as needed. Help develop and standardize SLED contracting playbooks, templates, and intake/triage processes to reduce cycle time and improve consistency. RFP legal response ownership Own the Legal portion of RFP/RFI responses: intake, project planning, deadline management, drafting legal responses, and coordinating cross-functional inputs.
