Role Overview This Healthcare Contracts Paralegal will work directly with the Lead Attorney to support a value-based care technology platform and their risk-bearing entities (ACO, MSO, and IPA), handling first-pass drafting on commercial contracts that range from straightforward to complex. Their agreements are diverse. They contract upstream with health plans and ACOs and downstream with physician practices. Their deal structures include SaaS vendor arrangements, aggregator models, physician services agreements, and sophisticated partnership agreements. D2D Commercial Contracting Draft, review, and prepare first-pass redlines for commercial contracts, including health plan service agreements, provider network and participation agreements, vendor contracts, and data use and business associate agreements. Identify and flag key issues, unusual terms, and risk areas for attorney review. Support negotiations by preparing comparison charts, tracking open issues, and maintaining version control across deal threads.
