You will help build and strengthen financial processes during a pivotal restructuring period. Key Responsibilities For The Controller Lead the company’s budgeting and forecasting process in collaboration with ownership. Manage banking relationships, including credit line management, refinancing activities, and coordination with external auditors. Oversee full month‑end close, including bank reconciliations, general ledger oversight, and preparation of financial statements. Ensure compliance and reporting for sales tax and liquor tax. Oversee bills and payables, including systemized processing using Bill.com. Maintain financial accuracy, enhance processes, and ensure regulatory compliance across the business. Qualifications 5–7 years of accounting experience, or 15+ years of progressive experience. Bachelor’s degree required. Strong proficiency with QuickBooks and advanced Excel skills. Experience in small business, manufacturing, hospitality, or similar fast‑paced environments is helpful. Ability to operate as a true strategic partner — direct communicator, resilient, and solution focused.
