Exciting Job Opportunity: Controller/CFO for NYC's Premier General Construction Firm! Are you ready to take on a pivotal role and shape the financial landscape of one of New York City's most reputable construction management firms? We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller/CFO to join our esteemed client's dynamic team. This is your chance to lead the financial operations and strategic planning for a company that specializes in groundbreaking out-of-the-ground commercial and high-rise residential construction projects in the vibrant NYC market. AR EAS OF RESPONSIBILITY Planning, managing and coordinating all financial functions. Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets-results and forecasts. Manage and review all transactional accounting areas: including but not limited to AR, AP, Payroll and Job Costing. Drive and manage the close process based on monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting requirements. Work with the Risk Manager to lead the Controlled Insurance Program (CCIP) reporting and audits. Evaluate and improve all financial policies, controls and processes that will position for efficient and effective continued growth. Evaluate opportunities for process improvement and implementation of best methods and practices. Manage, monitor, and evolve the financial systems of the organization along with the CEO and Executive Team to support the firm's overall short and long-term strategic objectives. Manage relationship with our outside accounting firm - coordinate activities of outside auditors and tax advisors, including personal account and estate advisor. Along with Human Resources support, hire, train, manage, mentor and review work of staff. Work with other members of management for best Employment practices. Administer and perform Credit/Collections activity with Operations and Accounting staff.
