This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. Our team is looking for outstanding, highly motivated, automation and controls technicians who will form the bedrock of our automation capability, enabling rapid and high-quality internally developed system builds. We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Responsibilities: Wire, commission, and debug automated control systems Build automation control panels per design Work with external vendors to build and install panels Redline electrical and pneumatic schematics for automated systems Take utmost ownership of install work and timelines, providing regular updates and communicating blockers or risks rapidly Promote 5s principles of organizing and sustaining efficient and presentable team workspaces Qualifications: Completion of secondary education (High School Diploma or GED) required. Minimum 10+ years' experience installing, troubleshooting or maintaining equipment in a manufacturing setting. Proficient with computers, the ability to use MS Office, shop floor management software (ERP) and related program
