Job Overview Join our Audacious Aleworks team as our cook and family member! In this role, you will assist in preparing and serving meals, ensuring food safety standards are met, and supporting the overall operations. Duties Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients according to menu plans Support kitchen staff with food handling, cooking, and food safety practices to maintain high hygiene standards Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, following sanitation protocols and food safety regulations Handle food items responsibly, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and inventory management Experience Prior experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly preferred Background in food preparation, cooking, or the food industry demonstrates valuable culinary skills Experience working in restaurant settings or kitchens provides a strong foundation for this role Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is essential Familiarity with menu planning, meal preparation, and serving techniques enhances performance in this position Demonstrated knife skills and proficiency in meal assembly contribute to efficiency and quality This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a compassionate team!!
