As a cook, you will play a key part in meal preparation, food service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Responsibilities Assist with menu planning to meet dietary needs and preferences, ensuring variety and nutritional balance Prepare and cook meals following established recipes, portion sizes, and safety guidelines Handle food with care, adhering to proper food safety and sanitation standards throughout all stages of food handling and preparation Serve meals efficiently and courteously to residents or guests, maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor Support catering events or special occasions by preparing appropriate dishes and managing food presentation Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment to ensure compliance with health regulations Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal delivery and smooth kitchen operations Skills Strong culinary skills including cooking, knife handling, and meal assembly Familiarity with food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Previous restaurant or kitchen experience demonstrating proficiency in food service and food industry standards Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in food presentation and quality Excellent communication skills for serving guests or residents with kindness and professionalism Knowledge of catering procedures, serving techniques, and dietary restrictions or special diets Join us as a cook where your culinary expertise will make a meaningful difference every day!
