Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team in the role of . This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop culinary skills within a dynamic environment. Prior experience in a restaurant or catering setting is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. Responsibilities Assist with food preparation and meal assembly according to established recipes and standards Support cooking activities, ensuring dishes are prepared efficiently and to quality standards Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations Help with serving food to customers or guests in a courteous and professional manner Follow health and safety guidelines at all times, including proper handling of ingredients and equipment Assist with inventory management by organising supplies and notifying management of stock levels Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth kitchen operations Qualifications Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service is desirable but not essential; training will be provided Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is advantageous Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Enthusiasm for learning about culinary techniques and food presentation Ability to follow instructions carefully and maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness This role offers a valuable opportunity for individuals looking to build their career within the hospitality industry, with hands-on experience in a professional kitchen environment.
