JOB DESCRIPTION — PART-TIME LINE COOK / COOK High Tide Café | Pacifica, CA High Tide Café is a community-focused, full-service café in Pacifica. We are seeking a reliable Part-Time Line Cook / Cook who takes pride in consistency, cleanliness, and teamwork. This role supports daily kitchen operations by preparing food to standard, maintaining an organized workstation, and contributing to a professional kitchen environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare and execute menu items according to established recipes and standards Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout service Follow food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines Communicate clearly with kitchen and front-of-house team members Work efficiently during busy service periods without cutting corners Assist with prep, stocking, and closing duties as needed Support a positive, respectful, and professional kitchen culture QUALIFICATIONS Previous experience as a cook or line cook preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and consistency Reliable, punctual, and accountable Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs Food handler certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION Part-time position Consistent scheduling Hourly pay: $20-$25 ( will include a 30% Tip Split with FOH) WORK ENVIRONMENT Professional, well-run kitchen Team-oriented and respectful culture Clear expectations and standards HOW TO APPLY Please provide A brief summary of your kitchen experience Your availability Best contact phone number Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour Work Location: In person
