Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu plans. Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations. Assist in menu planning and development, contributing new ideas for seasonal dishes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, ovens, and grills. Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Provide support in training new kitchen staff on food handling procedures and cooking techniques. Requirements Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within the food industry or restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards. Proficient knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a busy kitchen environment. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
