Duties Assist with menu planning to meet dietary needs and preferences, ensuring balanced and appealing meal options Prepare, cook, and serve meals following established recipes and food safety guidelines Handle food with care, adhering to proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination Support the dietary department by organizing ingredients, setting up food stations, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area Contribute to meal presentation by garnishing dishes and ensuring portion control for consistency Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service experiences in a timely manner Participate in catering events or special meal occasions as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork Experience Previous dietary aide or dietary department experience preferred, with familiarity in meal preparation and food service operations Experience working in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly desirable, especially with kitchen tasks such as cooking and food handling Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices Culinary experience including knife skills, cooking techniques, and menu planning is advantageous Background in catering or serving roles that require attention to detail and customer service skills Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining high quality standards Prior kitchen experience or restaurant work that demonstrates proficiency in meal preparation and food industry practices Join us if you’re eager to bring your culinary talents into a rewarding environment where your skills make a real difference.
