Duties Assist in preparing and serving meals according to menu plans, ensuring timely and efficient food service Support food handling and safety procedures to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment Help with food preparation tasks such as chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients for various dishes Follow recipes accurately and utilize proper knife skills for meal preparation Contribute to menu planning by providing input on meal options and dietary considerations Support catering events or special meal occasions, ensuring all food is prepared and presented professionally Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing supplies Qualifications Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly preferred Experience in food preparation, cooking, or the food industry is advantageous Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation methods Familiarity with restaurant or kitchen environments, including food service operations Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Join us to be part of a vibrant team committed to providing exceptional nutritional care through culinary excellence.
