Duties Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu plans. Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients. Assist in meal preparation for special dietary needs as required by the dietary department. Utilize proper knife skills for efficient food preparation. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality meals. Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Help train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety practices. Requirements Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or similar setting, preferably in fine dining. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Proficient in meal preparation techniques and food handling procedures. Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
