Job Summary and Qualifications Responsible for performing appropriate inspections, review and provide resolution for identified safety issues related to the physical environment. The Coord Life Safety is responsible for overseeing management of the physical environment program, which includes Environment of Care and Life Safety guidelines in order to maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors and staff within the hospital and clinic buildings and grounds. Ensure that all Joint Commission guidelines for Physical Environment of Care standards at the hospital remain compliant Ensure safety and facility quality control follows local, federal and state regulations. Participates in performance improvement and information management activities. Manages all on-site inspections. Maintains calendaring system. Assists with scheduling activities, vendor meetings, travel, conference rooms and conference calls. Performs other related duties, as assigned. What qualifications you will need: Minimum Education High School Graduate / GED Associates Degree - preferred. - Minimum Experience: Two to Five years progressive Occupational Safety and Health experience; five to seven years equivalent combination of training and directly related experience - preferred Skills: Knowledge of the Joint Commission Environment of Care Standard, Nation Fire Protection Association Codes 99, 107, 72, 110 and OSHA Standards related to 29 CFR.
