Overview Dolby is seeking a talented and enthusiastic HQ Experience Center Coordinator to support the planning and execution of high-impact guest experiences and events at our Experience Center at Dolby Headquarters in San Francisco. This role will work with passionate experts and contribute to the creation of unforgettable experiences that showcase the power of Dolby technologies. You will contribute to the operation of customer, press, fan, and internal events and demo-focused HQ visits, which will include varied state-of-the-art labs throughout the building and our on-site Dolby Cinema. You will lead and/or support the planning and execution of events and experiences for high-profile external customers and partners. This role is a unique opportunity to further your experience with strategic guest engagements and events production while working with a globally recognized entertainment brand that is known for its supportive, collaborative culture. Responsibilities Among other tasks, this role will: Lead agenda creation and planning for HQ Experience Center guest visits, including coordination of tech showcases, presenters, meeting spaces, F&B, and other logistics Coordinate HQ Experience Center customer, partner, and press events, including executive networking receptions and Dolby Cinema movie screenings for our tier 1 ecosystem partners Provide guidance to and enable the success of cross-functional colleagues who host events at HQ Assist the 1275 Experience Center Lead with how we continue to optimize operations, data capture, and deliver value-proving reports Essential Qualities Positive attitude, a passion for logistics, and strong organizational skills are most critical. Passionate about events and strategic guest experiences. Comfort in high-pressure, high-visibility moments and an ability to stay calm and solution/action-oriented in those moments. Desire to learn, grow, push boundaries, and build efficiency. Self-starter with a positive and solution-oriented demeanor. Qualifications Strong written and verbal communications skills Comfort level with speaking to all levels of staff and management, including C-level executives and talent Intellectual curiosity; interest in consumer technology and the entertainment industry Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint) Aptitude to learn tools and platforms this role often leverages, such as: Airtable, Smartsheet, Miro, event registration platforms, Concur, and survey tools. At least 3 years’ experience in executive briefing center ops, customer service, hospitality, and/or communications, marketing or media events. This position is based at our global HQ in San Francisco and requires full-time in-person, on-site attendance. Must also be available to occasionally work evenings and weekends. The San Francisco/Bay Area target hourly rate for this W-2 contract position is $35-40 per hour, which can vary if outside this location. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, market demands, internal parity, and relevant education or training.
