Three years of experience in a related field supporting a department. A combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered. Nature & Purpose Of Position Performs complex administrative and program coordination work in support of the the Center for Intelligence and Crime Analysis (CICA) and the De-escalation Training Center (DTC) within LEMIT. Primary Responsibilities Plans, coordinates, and facilitates programs, training events, and related activities for the Center for Intelligence and Crime Analysis (CICA) and the De-Escalation Training Center (DTC) within LEMIT. Responsibilities include organizing certificate programs, training initiatives, and other assigned programs from inception through evaluation. Coordinates all program logistics, including scheduling, site selection, calendar management, participant registration, and payment processing. Prepares and distributes program materials, maintains and updates marketing content and website information, and supports outreach efforts to promote program participation. Provides comprehensive administrative support for both programmatic and grant-related activities. This includes scheduling meetings and appointments, preparing correspondence and official documents, maintaining records, and taking and distributing meeting notes. Serves as a point of contact for students, staff, university departments, and external stakeholders. Manages program and grant-related financial processes, including budget preparation, monitoring, reconciliation, and reporting. Processes travel and purchasing transactions, maintains P-Card expenditures, and ensures all financial activities comply with university policies as well as applicable local, state, and federal regulations. Maintains oversight of program resources, including procurement and inventory of supplies and materials. Ensures efficient use of resources in support of program delivery and operational needs. Compiles, tracks, analyzes, and reports program data to assess effectiveness and support continuous improvement. Prepares periodic and ad hoc reports as required. Collaborates with internal university stakeholders, regional partners, and national training centers, particularly in support of de-escalation training initiatives. Facilitates communication with subject matter experts and external partners to support program development and delivery. Interprets, applies, and ensures compliance with institutional policies, procedures, and guidelines. Assists in the development and recommendation of program procedures, policies, and operational standards. Identifies operational issues, confers with staff and leadership, and implements practical solutions to improve program efficiency and effectiveness. Performs other related duties as assigned.
