Role Overview The Difference You Make: We are seeking a highly motivated Analyst to join the Corporate & Investment Banking Export & Agency Finance team, with a primary focus on Latin America and Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs). The role involves supporting the origination, structuring, and execution of financing solutions backed by Export Credit Agencies (ECAs) and Multilaterals across a range of sectors, including infrastructure, energy, and industrial projects. The Analyst will work closely with senior bankers, credit, risk, and legal teams to deliver tailored financing solutions to clients, including corporates, sovereigns, and public sector entities. Key Responsibilities Support the origination and execution of Export & Agency Finance transactions in Latin America Assist in structuring financings supported by Export Credit Agencies (ECAs), Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs), and Development Finance Institutions (DFIs) Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate transaction viability, optimize structuring, and support investment and credit decisions in project finance and structured lending Conduct credit analysis, including financial statement analysis, country risk, and counterparty risk assessment Prepare client presentations, credit memos, and internal approval materials Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Risk, Legal, Compliance, Syndications) to support deal execution Liaise with external stakeholders including ECAs, MDBs, borrowers, sponsors, and advisors Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and opportunities in Latin America and across multilateral financing programs Support portfolio monitoring and ongoing transaction management What You Bring Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field 1–3 years of experience in project finance, structured finance, investment banking, or corporate banking (internships considered) Exposure to Export Credit Agencies (e.g., UKEF, Euler Hermes, SACE, US EXIM) or Multilateral institutions (e.g., World Bank, IFC, IDB) is a strong plus Experience or academic focus on Latin America markets preferred Strong financial modeling and analytical skills Skills & Competencies Solid understanding of structured finance and project finance fundamentals Strong quantitative and financial analysis capabilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint Fluency in Spanish and English required; Portuguese is a plus Certifications No Certifications listed for this job. Experience in Microsoft Office products. What Else You Need To Know The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
