Norton Correctional Facility is a prison comprised of minimum, low, and medium incarcerated residents. Norton Correctional Facility is split into two different physical locations, Norton, KS housing Central Unit and Stockton, KS housing East Unit. The position oversees PREA training, supports investigations, coordinates the facility’s response efforts, and prepares all documentation required for audits. This position supervises the facilities Emergency Management and Preparedness Coordinator and is responsible for ensuring the facility meets all fire safety standards, participates in safety inspections, and supports emergency preparedness planning, training, and audit readiness. This includes coordinating with internal and external inspectors, monitoring compliance, and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
