COLLECTIV HAIRDRESSING ACADEMYInstructor SUMMARY: Implement the COLLECTIV HAIRDRESSING ACADEMY curriculum. Provide guidance and academic support to students to facilitate course completion. Maintain a high student retention rate based on organizational and regulatory expectations. Evaluate and answer student inquiries and ensure appropriate action is taken to resolve issues. Deliver the COLLECTIV Center Stage Experience to all Academy students with a commitment to student success and overall positive educational experience at the Academy. Maintain a professional and positive demeanor at all times. RESPONSIBILITIES : General: Teach one or more subjects within subject of expertise/training. Demonstrate upbeat, professional conduct towards students, co-workers, and school patrons at all times. Begin class on time; maintain punctual arrival 30 minutes prior to start of class to ensure absolute preparedness. Ensure that students and clients receive the COLLECTIV Center Stage Experience in all dealings with school personnel. Comply with all Academy dress code and company policies at all times. Support the school Administration and Director as needed. Other duties as assigned. Preferred Minimum Requirements: State Cosmetology License and State Cosmetology Instructor License. Two years’ experience as a hairdresser, hairdresser training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Cosmetology School experience. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Excellent organizational and communication skills Strong leadership skills and the ability to solve problems Flexibility and open-mindedness Strong retail skills and product knowledge Engaging, supportive, positive personality Ability to deliver outstanding customer experiences and feedback to students Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
