Qualifications & Desired Experience: Active Virginia COTA license (required) Previous experience working as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Knowledge of therapy needs in school environments a plus Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with students, staff, and families Ability to maintain accurate documentation and effectively manage a part-time caseload Key Responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy interventions for a select group of students in compliance with their individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers and related service personnel to integrate therapy strategies within the school setting Document student progress, maintaining clear and confidential records according to school and legal guidelines Participate in meetings and communicate student progress to the broader educational team as needed Adapt therapy techniques to support each student's growth and participation in school activities This flexible position is ideal for therapists seeking meaningful, focused work with less time commitment.
