Location: West of El Monte including East LA, Boyle Heights, or Chinatown Working Hours: Full Time, Non-Exempt. Must work two evenings per week and some weekends. This role is responsible for conducting outreach and mental health educational events promoting community well-being, build and maintain partnerships with parents, youth, community-based organizations, faith-based institutions, and social service agencies. Facilitate weekly evidence-based Parents Anonymous® Parent, Children & Youth Groups with model fidelity. Complete and document Building Family Strengths Interviews (BFSI) and support RCT processes as assigned. Conduct outreach to maintain 8–10 weekly group participants. Support Parent Leadership, Shared Leadership®, mutual support, and personal growth to strengthen family resilience and prevent Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). Key Responsibilities Implement in Shared Leadership ® family engagement services to serve approximately 800 unduplicated individuals annually focused on the social determinants of health services that impact mental health and well-being to address the prevention of mental health to successfully achieve the CFRC deliverables of an assigned geographic area of Los Angeles County Supervisorial District 1. Implement and participate in large and ongoing outreach engagement in person mental health educational events to promote overall well-being. Document accurately all required data daily into the data collection system. Maintain and uphold Crisis Protocol by immediately contacting and following all instructions from the Senior Director of Programs & Vice President of Clinical Services regarding suicidal ideation, child and elder abuse, neglect reporting, and other crisis situations. Facilitate Weekly Parents Anonymous® Adult Groups to ensure Model Fidelity and positive outcomes. Conduct and document effective outreach daily to maintain 8-10 Adult Group Participants in each of the weekly Parents Anonymous® Adult Groups assigned. Conduct Building Family Strengths Interviews to ensure 8-10 Adult Group Participants in each of the Weekly Parents Anonymous® Adult Groups assigned utilizing the RCT process. Coordinate the Children & Youth Group Facilitators to ensure Model Fidelity. Identify, train, and foster the development of Parents Anonymous® Parent Group Leaders. Conduct Weekly Briefing and Debriefing with Parent Group Leader. Incorporate the content of the “I am a Parents Anonymous® Parent” booklet and implement the monthly themes. Incorporate and support the development of the 16 Successful Nurturing & Parenting Strategies. Encourage Parents to seek emotional support by contacting the California Parent & Youth Helpline ®. Text and email Group Participants weekly with zoom link and other relevant information. Enter Weekly Group Attendance and Notes into the Program Tracking System. Administer Post Outcome Surveys 15 weeks after the Building Family Strengths Interview. Qualifications Master’s degree in Social Work, MFT, Psychology or Counseling. Must live near West of El Monte including East LA , Boyle Heights, or Chinatown. 3–5 years of experience in clinical mental health or social services Must have an active and valid registration with the BBS. Bilingual in English and other languages spoken in Supervisorial District One. Must work two evenings per week and some weekends. Valid driver’s license and car insurance required.
