In this energetic role, you will be the friendly face that greets customers, assists with food and beverage orders, and ensures a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.Your culinary experience, combined with excellent sales skills, will help drive customer satisfaction and boost sales through effective upselling.This position offers a fast-paced environment where your multitasking abilities and attention to food safety are essential for success.Whether you're handling cash, preparing food, or providing top-notch service, you'll play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere that keeps customers coming back.Duties Greet customers warmly and assist with their food and beverage selections at the counter Prepare food items efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS accurately for orders and payments Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations Upsell menu items to increase sales and enhance customer satisfaction Maintain cleanliness of the counter area, including bussing tables and food handling stations Ensure all food is prepared according to health regulations and restaurant standards Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly Support food industry best practices by following sanitation protocols and proper food handling procedures Skills Proven experience in food preparation, food service or quick service & fast food restaurants Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transactions Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Ability to upsell products confidently to maximize sales opportunities Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks seamlessly during peak hours Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing Experience in cashiering, serving, bussing tables or retail environments such as grocery stores or cafes Culinary experience or restaurant background is highly desirable to enhance product knowledge and service quality Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy makes a difference!
