Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dependable independent Courier to join our growing delivery team.In this role, you will serve as a vital link between our company and our customers, ensuring packages are delivered safely, on time, and with professionalism across assigned routes.The ideal candidate takes pride in providing excellent customer service, has strong driving skills, and possesses the physical stamina needed for a fast-paced delivery environment.Your commitment and reliability will play a key role in upholding our reputation for efficiency and outstanding service.Route Details:Route start time:2:00 PM until completion Approximately 80 stops per day 7 days per week (consistent, steady work) Requirements:Must own a cargo van or Sprinter van (EXAMPLE)Ford Transit Cargo Van, Ram ProMaster , Chevrolet Express / GMC Savana,Nissan NV / NV Cargo.Must carry commercial auto insurance Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to lift, load, and deliver packages safely Dependable, punctual, and customer-focused Having a reliable backup driver is strongly recommended This is a paid position offering a consistent route, steady work, and the opportunity to stay active while working independently--delivering smiles along with packages.Responsibilities Safely operate a box truck or similar vehicle to deliver packages along assigned routes, adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols.Load and unload shipments efficiently , ensuring proper handling of goods.Manage the entire delivery process from route planning to final drop-off, maintaining punctuality and accuracy.Provide exceptional customer service by greeting recipients professionally, answering questions, and ensuring a positive experience.Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure optimal safety standards; report any maintenance issues promptly.Handle heavy lifting and moving tasks with proper technique to prevent injury while managing packages of various sizes and weights.Maintain detailed records of deliveries, pickups, and route activities for accountability and reporting purposes.Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with familiarity in route driving and commercial driving practices.Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.Experience working in warehouse environments or with warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks.Ability to operate a box truck with manual transmission safely and confidently.Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, moving packages, and performing manual tasks throughout the day.Knowledge of traffic regulations and safe driving practices for drivers or similar commercial vehicles.Skilled in load & unload procedures, route planning, and time management to ensure efficient deliveries.Join us as a Courier if you thrive on activity, enjoy working independently, and are committed to delivering excellence every day!
