Load and unload freight efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and proper handling procedures. Plan and follow optimized delivery routes to ensure punctual arrivals at multiple destinations. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after each shift to ensure safety and compliance with transportation regulations. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports throughout your shift. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to confirm delivery schedules and address any issues promptly. Follow all traffic laws, safety guidelines, and company policies during route driving to promote a safe working environment. Skills Proven experience in delivery driving or truck driving roles within a commercial setting. Strong knowledge of route planning, load & unload procedures, and freight handling techniques. Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance with transportation laws. Physical ability to load/unload freight manually or using equipment as needed; capable of lifting heavy items when required.
