Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Courier to join our dynamic logistics team. As a Courier, you will be responsible for delivering packages, documents, and goods efficiently and safely across designated routes. Your role is vital in ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining excellent customer service, and supporting the smooth operation of our transportation network. Responsibilities Safely operate various types of commercial vehicles, including box trucks, flatbeds, and cargo vans, to deliver goods promptly across assigned routes Load and unload shipments using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary, ensuring proper handling and security of cargo Navigate city streets and highways efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations Communicate clearly with dispatchers, customers, and team members to confirm delivery details and resolve any issues that arise during transit Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to identify mechanical issues or safety concerns Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery confirmation records Support warehouse activities as needed, including moving inventory or assisting with loading operations Skills Proven experience in delivery driving or shuttle driving within a commercial vehicle environment Strong knowledge of driving regulations, including manual transmission operation and heavy haul procedures if applicable Mechanical aptitude for basic vehicle maintenance checks and troubleshooting common issues Ability to operate specialized equipment such as forklift, pallet jack, or tanker trucks when required Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members Experience with route driving in various settings such as school bus driving, paratransit services, or freight delivery is highly desirable Physical capability to move heavy loads and perform repetitive lifting tasks safely Join us to be part of a dedicated team that values safety, efficiency, and exceptional service.
