Job Description To serve as the team lead for a group of craft employees. To perform the duties of the craft position and, in conjunction with department supervision, to direct the work of other employees and provide oversight of assigned projects. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Must meet the minimum requirements for the specific craft position and have one (1) additional year of experience at UAB in the specific craft position. An accredited post-secondary vocational or technical school certificate or diploma preferred. Prior experience as a lead or supervisor is preferred. Depending on need and specific assignment, position may be required to meet patient care standards, comply with Joint Commission standards and N95 respirator fit testing. Must maintain a valid driver s license, issued in the United States. Motor Vehicle Record will be obtained and reviewed at least annually. Driving record should meet University underwriting standards to drive vehicle in performance of University business.
