Duties Assist with food preparation and cooking of traditional Mexican dishes, ensuring quality and presentation standards are maintained Support menu planning by preparing ingredients and helping develop new recipes that excite our customers Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area Serve customers efficiently, taking orders and ensuring a positive dining experience Maintain kitchen organization, including stocking supplies, cleaning workstations, and managing waste disposal Collaborate with team members during catering events or special promotions to deliver exceptional service Follow all health and safety regulations to uphold high standards of food safety and sanitation Skills Experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with food handling and safety protocols Proven restaurant or kitchen experience with strong culinary skills, including knife handling and meal preparation techniques Knowledge of menu planning, food industry standards, and catering operations enhances your ability to contribute effectively Excellent food preparation and cooking skills, especially in Mexican cuisine or similar culinary styles Strong understanding of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail Good serving skills with a friendly attitude that prioritizes customer satisfaction This role offers an engaging environment where your culinary talents can shine!
