Credit & Collections Manager

Primary/Key Responsibilities Responsible for activities of direct reports within the credit and collection department- overseeing a staff of 5 Investigates and verifies financial status and reputation of prospective customers applying for credit Prepare documents for recommendation of rejection or approval of applications Establishes credit limitations on customer account Assigns responsibility for investigation of fraud cases and recommending possible legal action and collection of worthless checks and delinquent bills Review collection reports to evaluate effectiveness of current collection policies and procedures Audit delinquent accounts before assigning bad-debt status to account Submit delinquent accounts to attorney or outside agency for collection Review the financial standing of businesses seeking to establish large lines of credit, analyze financial statements, payment practices to determine appropriate credit limit Communicate with major customers as necessary to establish credit arrangements for unusual transactions and to maintain a stable business relationship Pay:$100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year Benefits:401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location:In person.
