Duties Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service with enthusiasm and professionalism Take accurate orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring quick and efficient transactions Prepare and serve gelato and other food items following proper food handling and sanitation standards Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Manage cash handling responsibilities, including cashiering and POS operations, with accuracy Maintain cleanliness of the front counter, dining area, and service stations by bussing tables and sanitizing surfaces Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff during busy periods Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices at all times Qualifications Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus Strong time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and friendly demeanor Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory counts Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques Experience in cashiering, serving, bussing, or retail math is advantageous Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to serving up delightful gelato experiences!
