Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Crew Leader - Tree Climber to oversee and perform tree care operations including pruning, removals, and rigging.This role requires strong leadership skills, technical climbing ability, and a commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.The Crew Leader will supervise crew members on job sites, ensure efficient workflow, and uphold professional tree care practices.Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise a tree crew to ensure safe and efficient job site operations Perform advanced tree climbing for pruning, removals, and technical rigging Apply safe and effective rigging techniques during tree care operations Operate and maintain climbing gear, chainsaws, and other tree care equipment Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and company policies Train and mentor crew members in proper tree care techniques and safety procedures Assess tree health, structure, and growth patterns to determine appropriate care Communicate effectively with clients and team members Maintain clean and organized job sites Experience & Qualifications 1-2 years of professional tree climbing experience required Demonstrated ability to safely climb trees and work at heights Strong knowledge of pruning and removal techniques Experience applying safe rigging skills in tree care Familiarity with safety standards and proper equipment usage Knowledge of tree species and their growth patterns Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Hoisting license and/or CDL is a plus Strong leadership and team management skills Physical Requirements Ability to work at heights for extended periods Capable of lifting and maneuvering heavy equipment and materials Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Pay:$30.00 - $38.00 per hour Benefits:Health insurance Paid time off Work Location:In person.
