Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Wireless Manager to oversee daily operations within our retail or corporate wireless sales environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of wireless products and services. This role involves managing staff, driving sales, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining operational efficiency. The Wireless Manager will play a pivotal role in team development, inventory control, and strategic planning to meet business objectives. Duties Lead and supervise a team of sales associates and staff, providing training and development to enhance performance. Oversee daily store or department operations, including shift management, scheduling, and ensuring adherence to company policies. Manage wireless sales initiatives, including product knowledge dissemination, upselling, and customer engagement strategies. Conduct interviewing and recruiting to build a skilled team aligned with organizational goals. Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping, inventory management, and POS transactions with accuracy. Monitor inventory levels, coordinate purchasing, and oversee stock merchandising to optimize product availability. Implement marketing strategies to promote wireless products and services effectively. Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing customer inquiries via phone etiquette and in-person interactions. Manage pricing strategies, sales targets, and store management responsibilities to maximize profitability. Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies while fostering a positive work environment focused on teamwork and leadership. Qualifications Proven management experience in retail or wireless sales environments with supervising or assistant manager roles preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently across various responsibilities such as inventory control, cash handling, and employee training. Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases. Demonstrated proficiency in retail math, POS systems, merchandising, marketing, budgeting, and sales management. Experience in recruiting, interviewing, employee orientation, training & development is highly desirable. Knowledge of wireless products/services along with experience in retail sales is essential. Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and manage performance effectively. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with administrative tasks such as bookkeeping, payroll processing, inventory management, and store operations is required.
