Responsibilities Perform live music at concerts, festivals, theater productions, or private events, engaging audiences with energetic and compelling performances Collaborate with directors, producers, and other musicians to develop arrangements and rehearse for upcoming shows or recordings Adapt performances based on venue acoustics, audience response, and production requirements to ensure a seamless experience Maintain and tune instruments regularly to uphold optimal sound quality during performances Assist in setting up stage equipment, microphones, and sound systems prior to performances Participate in promotional activities such as rehearsals, interviews, or community outreach events to connect with audiences and promote the musical program Stay updated on current musical trends and continuously refine your skills through practice and professional development Qualifications Proven experience performing as a musician in live or studio settings across various genres Strong proficiency in playing one or more musical instruments relevant to the role Knowledge of theater production processes is highly desirable to enhance stage presence and performance integration Ability to read sheet music and follow musical arrangements accurately Excellent communication skills for collaboration with team members and engaging with audiences Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or irregular hours based on event schedules Passionate about creating inspiring musical experiences and eager to grow professionally within the arts industry Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour Work Location: In person
