Job Title: CT Scan Technologist (CT Tech) Location: Albany, NY 12208 Position Type: Travel Duration: 13-14 Weeks Shift Details: 3x12-hour day shifts (Friday-Sunday) Hours: 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM Total Hours: 36 hours per week No on-call responsibilities Guaranteed hours based on facility requirements Job Description: The CT Technologist works under the direction of the Medical Director, Radiologist, and department leadership in a fast-paced Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center. The role involves performing CT scans to produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Responsibilities include scanning trauma and emergency cases, as well as outpatient, inpatient (including critical care), and research patients. The technologist may also assist with specialized CT-guided procedures and is responsible for following all radiation safety regulations as per New York State guidelines. Minimum Qualifications: Education: Graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology program High school diploma or equivalent Licensure & Certifications: New York State license in Diagnostic Radiography or limited permit to practice in New York ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification Current BLS (Basic Life Support) or CPR/AED certification for Healthcare Providers Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience preferred Entry-level candidates may be considered based on skills and training Specialty: Radiology - CT Tech
