Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1years CT Tech experience required.Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A skilled CT Technologist is sought to contribute expertise in advanced imaging within a high-volume, multidisciplinary hospital environment located in Kannapolis, NC.This contract opportunity involves working primarily on a 12-hour day shift schedule during weekends, offering the chance to deliver critical diagnostic imaging services in Trauma Level III and specialty centers known for excellence in chest pain, stroke, and bariatric care.Key Responsibilities:Perform computed tomography (CT) imaging with equipment from Siemens and GE to support emergency, inpatient, and outpatient care.Collaborate closely with radiology nursing and transport teams to ensure smooth patient handling and imaging workflow.Uphold patient-centered care and team accountability standards in a demanding, fast-paced clinical setting.Maintain compliance with departmental protocols and participate in 3-5 days of orientation to facility and modality-specific procedures.Participate in scheduled weekend shifts (Friday through Sunday, 9:00am9:30pm) with potential holiday and on-call duties as discussed during interview.Qualifications and Experience:Minimum of 3 years CT imaging experience required; first-time travelers welcomed.Active ARRT-CT certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.NC State Licensure is not required.Valid photo ID for compliance processes.Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records preferred.Location Insights:Situated near Concord, this position offers a blend of suburban living with convenient access to urban amenities.The facility supports a dynamic patient population and provides free parking.The radiology department fosters a team culture centered on quality care and operational efficiency.Additional Details:Scrub color requirement:black.Weekend work and holiday coverage are integral; travelers can expect to work approximately 75% of holidays.Manager approval required for requested time off.This is a contract role with scheduling cycles arranged every four weeks.Candidates possessing the requisite expertise and a commitment to quality CT imaging in a multidisciplinary hospital are encouraged to apply.Explore this opportunity to enhance your professional experience while contributing to a leading teaching hospital dedicated to clinical excellence.#cjp.
