Department:Radiology / CT ImagingShift:Night Shift (12 Hours)Schedule:3x12 Hours (Weekend Rotation Required) Typical Hours:Night:07:00 PM - 07:30 AM(Shift may vary slightly based on department needs) Type:Full-Time Contract / TravelDuration:13 WeeksLocation:Denver, CO Pay:$40/hour (W2) $1440 Weekly StipendWeekly Gross:$3000 Company Overview At MedCadre, we connect exceptional healthcare professionals with world-class career opportunities while upholding the highest standards of ethics, fairness, and integrity.As a Joint Commission-accredited leader in healthcare staffing, we ensure trust and peace of mind for both our clinicians and partner facilities.Job Summary The CT Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of computed tomography (CT) procedures using ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes.This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and independent judgment to produce high-quality diagnostic images in a fast-paced acute care environment.The CT Tech works closely with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety, accurate imaging, and timely results while maintaining compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.Roles and Responsibilities Perform CT scans in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols Ensure proper patient identification, order verification, and exam preparation Operate CT equipment and associated systems to produce high-quality diagnostic images Review and evaluate images for clarity, accuracy, and completeness Administer contrast media as ordered, following safety protocols and monitoring for adverse reactions Adhere to radiation safety standards to protect patients, staff, and self Provide patient education, ensure comfort, and address concerns before, during, and after procedures Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient information, and any incidents Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care Follow infection control policies and maintain a sterile, safe working environment Ensure timely completion of studies without compromising quality or patient care Maintain equipment functionality and report malfunctions or issues promptly Participate in quality control programs and ensure compliance with regulatory standards Stay current with advancements in CT imaging and participate in continuing education Assist in training and mentoring students and junior technologists Qualifications ARRT Certification (RT)(CT) required Active Colorado State License (required at time of submission) AHA BLS Certification (Required) Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience (Required) Acute Care / Hospital experience (Required) Experience with contrast administration (Required) Familiarity with PACS and EMR systems (EPIC preferred) Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging protocols Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills Flexibility to work night shifts and weekends Application Process:Please submit your resume to Abdul@medcadre.com or Call (949) 620-6781.Qualified candidates will be contacted promptly for next steps.AL01 Job Types:Full-time, Contract Pay:$2,600.00 - $3,000.00 per week Work Location:In person.
