Location: Long Beach Veterans Affairs Healthcare System (LBVAHCS) 5901 E. 7th Street Long Beach, CA 90822 Schedule: CT: Weekday & Weekend Coverage (including holidays) Day: 7:00am 7:30pm Night: 6:00pm 6:30am Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of current work experience in Computed Tomography (CT). Hold a current valid ARRT (R) and Advanced ARRT Computed Tomography (CT) certification for CT modality. Must have demonstrated experience starting Intravenous (IV) and contrast injections. IV certification is preferred but not required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Picture Achieving & Communication Systems (PACS) work experience; however, AGFA PACS experience is preferred but not required. Duties: Shall be responsible for, but is not limited to: Independently operate CT Scanning equipment to perform a variety of complex CT imaging exams and practices CT safety. Shall receive patients, explain method of procedure(s), position patients, select and set technical parameters, set up and adjust accessory equipment for imaging.
