Position: CT Technologist Job Type: Contract Location: New York, NY 10003 Shift: Day, Evening, Night Schedule: 5*8 Guaranteed Hours: 37.50/week Pay Range: $2800 - $3000 per week Job Summary We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in CT imaging, radiopharmaceutical handling, and quality control processes . Key Responsibilities Perform CT imaging procedures using appropriate kV and mA techniques to ensure diagnostic quality Conduct daily equipment calibration and quality control checks prior to patient studies Administer radiopharmaceuticals as per physician orders and established protocols Follow radiation safety guidelines (ALARA principle) to ensure patient and staff safety Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and compliance records Manage and retrieve patient imaging data and electronic records for radiologist review Order, receive, and verify radiopharmaceutical doses and activity levels Perform quality assurance and safety testing on imaging equipment Assess patient condition and provide appropriate care before, during, and after procedures Required Qualifications Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License (L.R.T) ARRT Certification (Radiography & CT) BLS Certification Minimum 1+ year of CT experience Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program Required Skills CT Imaging Procedures kV & mA Techniques Quality Control & Calibration Radiation Safety (ALARA) Patient Assessment & Care Documentation & Compliance Pride Health offers eligible employees comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance, and hospital indemnity), 401(k) retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto and home insurance, pet insurance, and employee discounts with preferred vendors.
