Job Summary : - Job Title : CT Technologist Location : Atlanta, GA, 30342 Shift : Day shift or Night shift - 12x3 Duration : 13 weeks with possible extension based on performance Guaranteed Hours : 36/week Pay : $75-$78/hour Job Duties : - Patient Preparation : Explain the CT procedure, verify patient identity, check medical history, and ensure proper positioning on the scan table. Operating CT Equipment : Use CT scanners to capture high-quality cross-sectional images of the body, adjusting settings based on the exam type. Ensuring Patient Safety : Follow radiation safety protocols (based on principles like ALARA principle) to minimize exposure. Administering Contrast Media : Inject or assist in giving contrast agents when required, while monitoring for allergic reactions. Image Evaluation : Review images for clarity and diagnostic quality before sending them to the radiologist. Maintaining Equipment : Perform routine checks and report malfunctions to ensure the CT scanner functions properly. Record Keeping & Coordination : Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams for proper diagnosis and care.
