Job Description
SUMMARY Performs custodial duties at all Cranmore buildings and facilities. Heavy cleaning includes restrooms, glass, and vacuuming. Other duties include, but are not limited to, trash removal, grounds maintenance including mowing, snow removal, sanding and salting, event setup, and general maintenance of facilities. As a customer focused organization, a crucial part of each employee’s job is to get and keep guests. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Provides superior service to our customers (internal and external) by following the Make the Guest Right program while interacting with guests. Respond to all guests and employees in a courteous, efficient manner. Performs general cleaning and janitorial duties in the common areas of the buildings. Cleans floors, windows, doors, walls, mirrors, and partitions. Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and cafeterias. Maintains a neat and orderly custodial closet; ensures cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked. Ensure the safety of staff and guests by using OSHA standards for chemical usage, proper use of equipment, and proper usage of personal protective equipment. Drives vehicles required to perform tasks. Performs limited grounds maintenance such as mowing and trimming lawns and shrubs and clearing of snow/ice from sidewalks and decks. Performs minor repairs and maintenance such as replacing light bulbs, unclogging pipes, touch up painting. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed. Assist other departments as needed. Flexible working hours. Some job sharing may be required. Performs other related duties as assigned.
