Custodian - Research / Laboratory Facility

We are seeking a reliable Custodian with experience working in a research or laboratory environment.This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, safety, and proper care of buildings, facilities, and fixtures while following established protocols required in lab settings.Contract (3-6 months with possibility of conversion) Pay Rate:$20+/hr 1st shift Responsibilities: Clean and maintain research and laboratory facilities, offices, and common areas. Follow cleaning procedures specific to lab and research environments. Sanitize work areas, restrooms, and high-touch surfaces. Empty trash and dispose of waste according to facility guidelines. Maintain floors, fixtures, and equipment in assigned areas. Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or supply needs. Follow all safety, cleanliness, and compliance standards. Qualifications: Previous custodial experience in a research, laboratory, healthcare, or controlled facility required. Ability to follow detailed procedures and safety protocols. Strong attention to cleanliness and detail. Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks. Physically able to stand, walk, bend, and lift as needed.
