In this role, you will install and maintain cables for computers, routers, telephone systems, and other electronic equipment. Your responsibilities will include communicating with customers to understand their needs, assessing the project requirements, removing the old equipment, and installing new cables. The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, and has an excellent understanding of electrical equipment. Responsibilities Communicate with customers to understand their needs Assess the project requirements, including design and equipment Install cables in homes, commercial, retail, and industrial spaces Remove old, damaged, or unnecessary cables and equipment Troubleshoot cable and network problems Educate customers on basic operating instructions Qualifications High school diploma or GED Technical certifications are a plus Previous experience as a Custom AV, Home Theater or Cable Installer; low-voltage technician; or related experience is preferred Knowledge of home theater, networking, security, lighting and home automation systems Ability to work with limited or no supervision Excellent interpersonal skills Physical ability to bend repeatedly, lift heavy objects, and work in small spaces Compensation: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour Our company is dedicated to serving our customers and our community.
